One battle at a time
Each scheduled battle places one current King against one approved challenger. The normal voting window is 24 hours. Times shown on the site follow the server record, not a visitor's device clock.
One visitor, one vote
A visitor may support one product once per battle. The choice is final. We use a signed first-party visitor identifier, limited device and network digests, velocity checks, and—when enabled—Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated or coordinated abuse.
Scores and review
Live totals remain hidden until a valid vote is recorded. High-risk votes may stay pending and do not count until approved. When voting closes, a 30-minute review window allows suspicious votes to be approved or revoked without deleting the evidence.
Result, overtime, or void
The product with more valid votes wins. A qualifying tie receives one 60-minute overtime. A second tie keeps the King. A battle below the published minimum valid-vote threshold is void. The operator may freeze a battle during an integrity or availability incident.
The throne
The winner becomes or remains King. A King that reaches three consecutive wins enters the Hall of Fame and retires from the active throne. Dethrone measures public support during a specific window; a win is not an independent quality, safety, or investment endorsement.
Participation and sponsorship
Products and sponsor creative are reviewed before publication. Sponsorship never changes vote handling, score visibility, or settlement. Paid placement does not guarantee traffic, clicks, votes, or a particular result.
Enforcement
Automation, vote buying, deceptive referrals, impersonation, malware, unlawful content, and attempts to evade controls may lead to vote revocation, rejection, suspension, cancellation, or loss of payment eligibility. Material operator actions retain a reason and audit record.
